On Stage: Mental Illness, Extraterrestrials and Soup

This January Damon Runyon  Repertory Theater will be showcasing the talent of Judith Cook in a one-woman show that is sure to take you out of this world. Cook stars in The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe as Trudy, a homeless bag lady, in Emmy Award-winning playwright Jane Wagner’s first play.

OnStage: The Gypsy House

December 2009 Issue

I had the privilege of experiencing "Sordid Lives," a play by Del Shores, at the Gold Dust Saloon on Sunday November 15th. This madhouse of a play began after a delicious meal of B.B.Q. beef, green beans, potato salad and chocolate cake. It is a hilarious study of serious family dysfunction and the difficult journey of learning to accept that family.

OnStage: Mockingbird still relevant

November 2009 Issue

On Sunday October 4th, I had the privilege of experiencing the gala opening of this year's Center Stage Performing Arts Series at the Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center with a production of To Kill a Mockingbird. The Montana Repertory Theatre production was adapted by Christopher Sergel and based on Harper Lee's only novel.
