Sometimes you just need to get away. A "real" vacation may not be in the cards, but if you have most of a day and evening, there are places to go, things to do, beers to drink, by god! Such a wild hair got the best of me recently. The result was an impromptu vacation day, less than an hour outside of our fair city.
