I could tell when I was putting Mattias, my seven year old son, to bed the other night, that I was about to get handed more than the typical bedtime conversation. He had that look on his face that indicated he was about to "fire" me. For a second, I actually was worried that I was in trouble.

Can people of faith cheer for death?

Ding, dong, the wicked witch is dead. Or something like that.

News spread like a Pueblo West brushfire that Osama bin Laden, America's longtime Public Enemy Number One, had been killed in a firefight with Delta Force and Navy SEAL soldiers May 2nd. I wrestled with mixed feelings as I heard President Obama break the news late that Sunday evening, relieved that the manhunt was finally over, but also disturbed by the fatal outcome.
